Yo~ Duelist! Dalam artikel kali ini ane, RareHunter, akan memberikan deck list dari Deck Idea yang dulu pernah ane bahas. Fun Deck tersebut mendapatkan support dari kartu-kartu bary tang ada di booster Next Challengers (NECH).

Sebelumnya, maap buat pembaca yang mencari pembahasan mengenai booster Duelist Alliance (DUEA), entah kenapa lebih asik bahas kartu-kartu di NECH daripada DUEA. Maap juga belum sempat bahas Shaddoll. Jadi sudah tau kan kenapa IYDC belum sempat bahas DUEA OCG World Premiere Cards? Good. Tapi yang nyari deck Entermate/Performapal, ane akan bahas setelah artikel ini dipublish..

Deck Baby Raccoon yang akan ane bahas kali ini deck yang sangat enjoy dan fun untuk dimainkan. Playstyle dari deck inilah yang membuatnya menyenangkan. Apakah deck ini akan menjadi Tier 1 seperti deck Hand Traprix Artifact yang dulu ane buat? Nope. Deck ini hanya untuk casual play. Tidak akan menjadi Tier 1, kemampuannya masih kurang walaupun ada kartu baru yang menambah speed dan konsistensi deck ini. Berarti decknya jelek? Well, dibilang jelek juga enggak. Karena waktu test di YGOPro bisa bertahan 25 turn melawan deck Qliphort (archetype baru di booster NECH) sampai akhirnya kalah 1-2. Tanpa banyak basa-basi lagi, ini dia deck list dari deck tersebut..

Valerifawn, Mystical Beast of the Forest adalah monster "Mystical Beast of the Forest" terbaru yang direlease di booster Next Challengers (NECH). Seperti pendahulunya, Kalantosa, Mystical Beast of the Forest, kartu ini ngesupport monster-monster Beast-Type berlevel 2 dan 1, karena kartu ini bisa "target 1 Level 2 or lower Beast-Type monster in your Graveyard, except "Valeryfawn, Mystical Beast of the Forest"; Special Summon that target in Attack Position or face-down Defense Position. " dengan hanya "discard 1 card". Dan hal ini sangat mengatasi dead hand yang sering terjadi di deck Raccoon. Bisa dibilang Zombie Master untuk Beast-Type monster.. Tidak hanya itu, ane masih punya alasan lain kenapa memasukkan kartu ini ke deck Baby Raccoon. Ane bakal bahas lebih detail lagi biar kalian engga ragu beli/membawa 3 lembar kartu ini untuk dimasukkan di deck Baby Raccoon..

Pertama-tama, yang kita bahas tentu saja statnya. Valerifawn, Mystical Beast of the Forest adalah monster Level 2 Beast-Type monster dengan ATK power 400 points dan DEF power 900 points. Dengan stat yang dimilikinya tersebut, kita bisa menggunakan Uniflora, Mystical Beast of the Forest, Obedience Schooled, Ayers Rock Sunrise, Baby Raccoon Ponpoko & Baby Raccoon Tantan, dan Dark Desertapir untuk ngespecial summon kartu ini. Kartu ini juga bisa digunakan untuk xyz summon Number 64: Ronnin Raccoon Sandayu lho..

Seperti disinggung sebelumnya, kartu ini bisa "target 1 Level 2 or lower Beast-Type monster in your Graveyard, except "Valeryfawn, Mystical Beast of the Forest"; Special Summon that target in Attack Position or face-down Defense Position." hanya dengan "discard 1 card". Yang didiscard tidak diharuskan ke Graveyard, jika ada Macro Cosmos atau Masked HERO Dark Law ya yang didiscard itu kebansih (lolnope. Engga bisa special summon The Fabled Cerburrel yang didiscard kartu ini jika ada Macro Cosmos dan kartu sejenisnya face-up). Lain lagi ceritanya yang didiscard itu Ojamagic dan ada Dimensional Fissure di arena. Kalau kasusnya seperti itu ya bukan dibahas dimari :p dimari kan ngebahas Baby Raccoon..

Efek yang dimiliki Valerifawn, Mystical Beast of the Forest sangat FATAL untuk monster-monster Beast-Type yang memiliki FLIP dan yang efeknya aktif ketika dispecial summon, seperti: Baby Raccoon Tantan, Kalantosa, Mystical Beast of the Forest, Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter, dll.

Tapi ada 1 hal yang kalian lupakan dari kartu ini, Valerifawn, Mystical Beast of the Forest adalah EARTH Attribute Tuner monster! Kaget? Wajar. Dengan kartu ini, kita tidak perlu terlalu bergantung pada Junk Synchron dan Elephun untuk synchro summon monster level tinggi. Monster ini juga membuka jalan untuk memanggil Red Nova Dragon (Combo: summon Valerifawn, Mystical Beast of the Forest> discard The Fabled Cerburrel> special summon Level 2 Beast-Type monster> Voila, ada 2 Tuner monster untuk summon Red Nova Dragon), Leo, the Keeper of the Sacred Tree, Naturia Beast, dan Naturia Barkion.. Overall, kalau kalian suka konsistensi deck daripada combo YOLO ya kartu ini benar-benar kartu yang membantu Baby Raccoon.. Bahkan kartu ini jauh lebih bagus dibandingkan Elephun yang bisa miss timing jika dibanish Redox, Dragon Ruler of Boulders.. :)

You can only activate 1 "Mimiclay" per turn.

Malas baca efeknya? Buat yang malas membaca, Mimiclay itu mirip efeknya Where Arf Thou?. Bedanya, Mimiclay itu "Special Summon 1 monster with the same name as that monster from your Deck in Defense Position, and if you do, banish it when it leaves the field." daripada Where Arf Thou? yang "Add" dari Deck ke hand..

Ada banyak deck yang mendapat support dengan adanya kartu ini, salah satunya ya deck Baby Raccoon ini karena efeknya yang membuat kita bisa  "Target 1 face-up Level 2 or lower Defense Position monster you control:", seperti: Atlantean (summon Atlantean Marksman atau Atlantean Heavy Infantry), Ojama, Baby Raccoon, Cyber Dragon Core (pengganti Machine Duplication maybe?), Skull Servant, Morphtroic (untuk abuse Mophtronic Ceflon), Ghostrick, Watt (Watt Hopper lockdown ayone?), Duston, dll.

Di deck Baby Raccoon di atas, ane memasukkan kartu ini karena Mimiclay punya potensi ngeOTK lawan dengan ngeabuse Level 2 monster yang dimiliki Baby Raccoon.. Bisa special summon Tree Otter atau Kalantosa, Mystical Beast of the Forest.. Anyway,  Mimiclay + Obedience Schooled + Valeryfawn, Mystical Beast of the Forest bisa menjadi combo GG yang membawa kita menuju OTK.. Kenapa harus pakai Mimiclay? Ya, kalau pakai Inferno Reckless Summon sudah mainstream :p

HOW THE DECK WORK

Seperti yang terlihat pada gambar di atas, memang begitulah cara memainkan deck Baby Raccoon. Baby Raccoon merupakan archetype Level/Rank 2 Beast-Type monsters. Mereka berduel dengan berfokus pada special summon monster dari Deck sehingga cepat ngesummon ace card mereka, Number 64: Ronnin Raccoon Sandayu.

Dengan ngedetach 1 Xyz Material dari Number 64: Ronnin Raccoon Sandayu; kita bosa special summon Token dengan ATK power sama dengan monster yang memiliki ATK power tertinggi di field, aloas Token yang bisa ngedestroy monster yang dicontrol lawan by battle.

Ada banyak cara memainkan deck Raccoon, bisa OTK menggunakan Xyz monster seperti Daigusto Phoenix dan Token yang disummon Number 64: Ronnin Raccoon Sandayu atau dengan Synchro Summon.. Untuk lebih detailnya, kalian bisa membaca artikel tentang Raccoon yang dulu pernah ane publish..

Berhubung Uniflora, Mystical Beast of the Forest hanya bisa mengaktifka jika ada Beast-Type saja, maka gunakanlah Madolche Hootcake untuk ngebanish non-Beast-Type monster tersebut> special summon Madolche Cruffsant> overlay keduanya untuk summon Leviair the Sea Dragon. Apabila monster yang dibanish Madolche Hootcake itu Level 4 or lower> detach 1 Xyz Material> special summon monster yang dibanish Madolche Hootcake.. Dapat Bonus jika yang dibanish Madolche Hootcake adalah Dark Desertapir..

• tune ketiga monster tersebut = Ancient Fairy Dragon

• add Closed Forest dari Deck> aktifkan Closed Forest

OVERALL
Apakah dengan adanya kartu-kartu tersebut dan direleaseya Obedience Schooled di Extra Pack 6 akan membuat Baby Raccoon menjadi Tier 1? lolnope. Fun to play? Bisa jadi! Selain dimasukkan di Baby Raccoon, Valerifawn, Mystical Beast of the Forest juga bagus dicombo dengan deck Wind-Up (Wind-Up Kitten anyone?) dan Nimble (discard Nimble Angler obviously).

Selain Valerifawn, Mystical Beast of the Forest dan Mimiclay, masih ada 2 bahkan 3 kartu baru lagi yang ngesupport archetype Baby Raccoon dari booster NECH, tapi berhubung kartu tersebut tidak terlalu berdampak signifikan terhadap konsistensi deck Baby Raccoon ya tidak dibahas di artikel ini.
