Yo~ Duelist! Akhirnya ane, RareHunter, ada mood lagi ngebahas Duelist Alliance (DUEA). Berhubung semua efek dan rarity dari TCG World Premiere Cards untuk DUE sudah direveal. Ane akan ngereview kartu-kartu TCG World Premiere tersebut. Berbeda dari booster-booster sebelumnya, di DUEA banyak kartu yang balance.. :) Balance dalam artian tidak begitu broken dan juga tidak begitu sampah-sampah amat.. Dragon Horn Hunter
(DUEA-EN000) Super Rare
DARK/Level 6/Warrior/Pendulum/Scale 3/2300 ATK/1000 DEF

Kartu pertama yang ada untuk DUEA TCG World Premiere Cards sudah obvious merupakan kartu Sneak Peek.. Dragon Horn Hunter merupakan Pendulum Monster yang direat sebagai Normal Monster, sehingga membuatnya bisa diadd menggunakan Summoner's Art.. Nope. Levelnya dia itu 6 jadi dia enggak bisa diadd pakai Reinforcement of the Army yang disemi-limit di TCG.. :p Berhubung ia Warrior-Type jadi dia tidak hanya bisa diadd Summoner's Art, ia juga bisa diadd menggunakan efek Blue Dragon Summoner dari Super Starter: Space-Time Showdown. :) Dan ia juga bisa diadd dari Graveyard menggunakan The Warrior Returning Alive.. Tapi sayang, Pendulum Scalenya 3, hilang sudah Pendulum Normal.dek yang memanfaatkan Heart of the Underdog dan Common Charity sebagai draw power.. :( Karena jika Dragon Horn Hunter (Pendulum Scale 3) dan Focault's Cannon (Pendulum Scale 2) ada di Pendulum Zone, ya kita enggak bisa Pendulum Summon =_=a Masih tanya kenapa enggak bisa Pendulum Summon? Elu belum baca artikel-artikel sebelumnya yang bahas Pendulum ya? Monggo dibaca dulu di mari..

Eits, tunggu dulu.. Kita bisa melakukan Pendulum Summon monster Level 4~6 monster jika Dragon Horn Hunter (Scale 3) dan Flash Knight (Scale 7) face-up di Pendulum Zone. Jadi kita bisa Pendulum Summon Trance the Magic Swordsman, Frontosaurus, dll dari tangan. Dragon Horn Hunter juga bisa dipendulum summon dari hand atau Extra Deck jika di Pendulum Zone ada Flash Knight (Scale 7) dan Focault's Cannon (Scale 2)

Benar-benar disayangkan sekali, padahal Pendulum Effectnya "All Normal Monsters gain 200 ATK. You take no battle damage from battles involving Normal Monsters you control." itu benar-benar membantu deck Normal Beatdown.. Trance the Magic Swordsman dan Frontosaurus menjadi 2800 beater.. Apalagi kalau ada Orichalcos Shunoros, makin keren dah fieldnya..

Kalau masalah art sih TCG World Premiere Card enggak usah diragukan lagi, ini artnya mirip kartu-kartu Korea World Premiere Card.. Anyway, dari segi ATK power sih Dragon Horn Hunter lebih tinggi daripada El Shaddoll Winda.. :v

Scarm, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss

● During the End Phase, if this card was sent to the Graveyard this turn: You can add 1 Level 3 DARK Fiend-Type monster from your Deck to your hand, except “Scarm, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss”.

Well, 2000 DEF untuk monster Level 3 itu sepertinya terlalu besar. imb4 ada Burning Abyss yang efeknya kayak Superheavy Samurai Big Benkei.. Dilihat dari stat, DARK/Level 3/Fiend, dia bisa dispecial summon Tour Guide from the Underworld dan Crane Crane.

Buat yang mau build deck Burning Abyss setelah melihat kartu ini harusnya langsung tanggap membeli Tour Guide from the Underworld. Karena efek pertamanya, "If you control a monster that is not a “Burning Abyss” monster, destroy this card.", akan dinegate apabila ia dispecial summon Tour Guide from the Underworld dari Deck. Dan harga Tour Guide from the Underworld lagi murah-murahnya.. Dengan menggunakan Tour Guide from the Underworld untuk special summon kartu ini, maka kita akn memiliki 2 Level 3 Monster di arena. Ini artinya kita bisa menggunakan 2 monster tersebut untuk dioverlay dan Xyz summon monster Rank 3.

Seperti Hammer Bounzer, Scarm, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss mendapat keuntungan apabila tidak ada kartu di S/T Zone kita. "If you control no Spell/Trap Cards: You can Special Summon this card from your hand.". Yang artinya, Typhoon menjadi kartu yang bagus untuk dimasukkan ke deck Burning Abyss..

Ditambah lagi Scarm, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss dilengkapi dengan efek yang dimiliki TCG World Premiere sesepuhnya, XX-Saber Darksoul, "During the End Phase, if this card was sent to the Graveyard this turn: You can add 1 Level 3 DARK Fiend-Type monster from your Deck to your hand, except “Scarm, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss”.". Berbeda dengan XX-Saber Darksoul, efek tersebut jalan apabila ia didetach sebagai Xyz material (selain disend dari Graveyard oleh Foolish Burial, Armageddon Knight, Lavalval Chain, Dark Grepher, Mathematician, dll) karena di textnya bukan " if this card was sent from the field to the Graveyard". Ada banyak Level 3 DARK Fiend-Type monster yang bisa diadd oleh Scarm, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss dari Deck ke tangan "except “Scarm, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss”.", seperti: Archfiend Heiress, Broww, Huntsman of the Dark World, Infernity Necromancer, Kuribandit, Memory Crusher, Night Assailant, monster-monster "Djinn of Rituals", dll.

Target yang paling cuan untuk diadd tentu saja: Tour Guide from the Underworld. Kenapa bisa cuan? Lu pikir aja sendiri! :p Normal summon Tour Guide from the Underworld> special summon Scarm, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss dari Deck> overlay jadi Rank 3/Xyz/Monster> detach  untuk mengaktifkan efek Rank 3/Xyz/Effect mnster tersebut> di End Phase: add Tour Guide from the Underworld kedua. Next turn ya tinggal loop aja.  Setelah Next Challengers (NECH) direlease, ada tambahan target lagi yang bisa diadd Scarm, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss.

Finally, akhirnya ada juga LIGHT/Rank 3/Warrior/Xyz! Ane bingung enggak bisa summon Constellar Pleiades pakai Rank-Up-Magic Astral Force gara-gara belum ada Rank 3/LIGHT/Warrior Xyz Monster.. Bisa dimasukin nih Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss dan Constellar Pleiades/Number C39: Utopia Ray Victory/Sacred Noble Knight of King Artorigus ke deck Rank-Up-Ghostrick.. :3 Tapi buat yang main OTK mendingan Rank-Up-Magic Astral Force ke Grenosaurus> summon Number 61: Volcasaurus> detach 1 xyz material> destroy 1 monster lawan> inflict damage ke lawan> overlay jadi Gaia Dragon, the Thunder Charger> direct attack lawan..

Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss memiliki 1000 ATK power yang tahan Bottomless Trap Hole dan 2500 DEF tahan Number 101: Silent Honor ARK baik by battle atau card effect..1000 ATK terlalu kecil? Tenang. Kita bisa menggunakan Magnum Shield atau menggunakan efek yang ada padanya, "Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card and choose a number from 1 to 3, then, send that many cards from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard; until the end of this turn, this card gains 500 ATK for each card sent to the Graveyard this way.". Lumayanlah kalau mill 3 kartu ATK powernya +1500 points.. Mirip Card Trooper? Bisa dibilang begitu.. Mereka berdua sama-sama ngemill tanpa memilih kartu yang  dimill.. Alias sama-sama bagus dimasukkan di deck Lightsworn, Chaos Dragon, Shaddoll, Infernity, bahkan Inzektor.. Dengan efek tersebut, Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss bisa menjadi 2000 ATK monster saat Black Garden di arena

Tapi Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss memiliki drawback, "If this card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Battle Phase.", seperti drawback Goblin Elite Attack Force.. Jelek? Jelek apaan? Lha wong dia punya 2500 DEF, lebih tinggi daripada DEF powernya Wind-Up Zenmaines, sesepuhnya di TCG World Premiere..

Sama seperti loop Tour Guide from the Underworld, Tour Bus from the Underworld, dan Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut, Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss juga memiliki loop apabila kita membawanya 2 lembar atau lebih di Extra Deck berkat efek terakhirnya.. "If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 “Burning Abyss” card in your Graveyard, except this card; add it to your hand." yang mirip efek Ghostrick Alucard..

Cir, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss

Cir, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss bisa "target 1 “Burning Abyss” monster in your Graveyard, except “Cir, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss”; Special Summon it.". Obviously special summon Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss jika dirinya "is sent to the Graveyard:" untuk stall dengan 2500 DEF yang dimiliki Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss. Berhubung ATK powernya 1600 points, ia rentan terkena Bottomless Trap Hole. Namun, ia bisa dispecial summon menggunakan Black Garden..

Sama seperti monster-monster Burning Abyss lainnya, kita bisa menggunakan Mathematician, Armageddon Knight, Dark Grepher, Foolish Burial, bahkan Dark Smog untuk ngesend kartu ini ke Graveyard. Selain dengan cara ngedetach sebagai Xyz Material atau didiscard/disend menggunakan Phoenix Wing Wind Blast, Divine Wrath, Raigeki Break, dll..

Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss

RIP Sangan. Say hi to Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss. Sepertinya inilah saat dimana KONAMI mulai menggunakan akal sehatnya untuk merelease World Premiere Card yang bagus.. (y) Good job buat desainernya.. Tour Guide from the Underworld akan dengan bangga bisa special summon monster ini dari Deck..

Mengapa demikian? "If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 “Burning Abyss” monster from your Deck, except “Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss”.". Alias efeknya jalan jika disend dari tangan, disend dari Deck, disend sebagai Xyz material (didetach).Play nya jadi seperti ini: normal summon Tour Guide from the Underworld> special summon > overlay keduanya untuk xyz summon Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss> detach Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss> "choose a number from 1 to 3, then, send that many cards from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard;"> efeknya nyala> "Special Summon 1 “Burning Abyss” monster from your Deck, except “Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss”.". Dan kalau kartu yang dimill oleh Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss ternyata Cir, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss, maka kita bisa special summon Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss dari Graveyard> overlay keduanya untuk Xyz summon Rank 3/Xyz monster atau Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss yang kedua..

Broken? Nope. Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss memiliki restriksi "You can only use one of the following effects of “Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss” per turn, and only once that turn." yang membuatnya tidak broken..

The Traveler and the Burning Abyss
(DUEA-EN086) Super Rare
Trap Card/Normal
Target any number of “Burning Abyss” monsters in your Graveyard that were sent there this turn; Special Summon them in Defense Position. You can only activate 1 “The Traveler and the Burning Abyss” per turn.

Dan ini dia kartu terakhir untuk Burning Abyss.. Bisa dibilang kartu ini ialah Torrential Reborn, Abyss-Squall, atau Bubble Bringer untuk Burning Abyss. Tapi jauh lebih bagus dari ketiga kartu tersebut..

Dengan menggunakan The Traveler and the Burning Abyss jika kita memiliki 2 Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss di Field dan mengaktifkan efek mereka berdua untuk ngesend 3 kartu dari Deck atau apabila monster Burning Abyss terkena Needlebug Nest, Solemn Warning, Torrential Tribute, Needle Ceiling, dll, kita bisa mengaktifkan kartu ini apabila yang disend merupakan monster Burning Abyss; "Special Summon them in Defense Position.".

Apabila ketiga monster Burning Abyss yang disend itu Level 3 (cuan banget kalau yang dimill Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss. Soalnya dia bisa special summon 1 monster Burning Abyss dari Deck), 2 diantara mereka bisa dioverlay untuk xyz summon Number 20: Giga-Brilliant lalu ngedetach 1 xyz material (detach Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss biar makin cuan) untuk meningkatkan ATK power Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss dan Number 20: Giga-Brilliant sebanyak 300 points.. 2800+2800+2100=7700 damage.. Not bad..

Sayangnya kita tidak bisa terlalu ngeabuse efeknya tersebut karena ada restriksi, "You can only activate 1 “The Traveler and the Burning Abyss” per turn." pada kartu ini. Jadi, bawa kartu ini selembar di Deck aja sudah lebih dari cukup.. Ngapain juga bawa kartu beginian banyak-banyak kalau Soul Charge masih Unlimited, ya 'kan?

Doomstar Magician

Ini baru yang namanya kartu balance. Statnya engga jelek-jelek amat dan efeknya enggak parah jelek. :) Doomstar Magician adalah DARK/Level 4/Spellcaster monster yang memiliki 1800 ATK/300 DEF. Dengan stat yang dimilikinya tersebut, ia bisa dispecial summon Dark Renewal, Summoner Monk dan kemudian bisa dioverlay untuk xyz summon Number 66: Master Key Beetle setelah mengaktifkan efeknya yang bisa ngedestroy 1 kartu di Pendulum Zone....

Buat teman-teman di Facebook yag kena hype, tolong diingat: Bukan ide yang bagus memasukkan Doomstar Magician di Main Deck apabila menggunakan deck Shaddoll ataupun Dark World.. Karena efeknya yang "Once per turn: You can discard 1 card, then target 1 card in either player's Pendulum Zones" itu masuk ke cost; bukan efek. Jadi, discardlah kartu yang tidak berguna apabila kartu tersebut ada di tangan dan berguna saat di Graveyard, seperti: Plaguespreader Zombie, Destiny HERO Malicious, Battlin' Boxer Glassjaw, Ojamagic (di textnya Doomstar Magician haya perlu "discard 1 card", bukan "discard 1 monster"), monster-monster Fabled, monster-monster Burning Abyss, dll yang sekiranya efeknya bisa jalan di Graveyard atau yang efeknya jalan saat didscard dari tangan as a cost.. imb4 Sinister Serpent unbanned/dilimit September/Oktober ini supaya banyak yang beli DUEA.. :v

Lagi-lagi buat teman-teman yang ngehype di Facebook, setelah kalian "discard 1 card", "then target 1 card in either player's Pendulum Zones; destroy it, and if you do, draw 1 card.". Di sana ada frasa "in either player's Pendulum Zone", yang artinya ia bisa melakukan apa yang dilakukan Mystical Space Typhoon, Chiron the Mage, Breaker the Magical Warrior, Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress, Evilswarm Ketos, dll. Bedanya hanya di ATK powernya saja.. Sama seperti monster-monster yang ane sebutkan, efek yang dimiliki Doomstar Magician bukanlah Quick Effect.. Kalau Quick Effect, di textnya harusnya ada "Once per turn, during your opponent's turn," dan "(this is a Quick Effect).". Ditambah lagi di textnya Doomstar Magician itu "destroy it". Itu haya membuat Pendulum Monster di Pendulum Zone pindah ke Extra Deck. Lebih baik kalian invest ke Typhoon, Twister, Full House, Spell Shattering Arrow, Fairy Wind, atau Anti-Spell Fragrance daripada kartu beginian..

U.A. Mighty Slugger
(DUEA-EN087) Rare
EARTH/Level 5/Warrior/Effect/2300 ATK/700 DEF
You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by returning 1 "U.A." monster you control to the hand, except "U.A. Mighty Slugger". You can only Special Summon "U.A. Mighty Slugger" once per turn this way. If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects until the end of the Damage Step.

Setelah kemarin kalian membaca artikel kartu baru di Battle Pack 3 dan megetahui betapa tidak kreatifnya KONAMI TCG dalam ngedesain kartu, hari ini ane akan memberikan lagi bukti KONAMI TCG itu sama sekali enggak kreatif..

U.A. Mighty Slugger ialah archetype baru di booster DUEA ini. Level, ATK, dan efeknya mirip dengan Armades, Keeper of Boundaries, tapi versi lebih jeleknya.. :p "If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects until the end of the Damage Step.".

Jadi pada dasarnya, jika U.A. Mighty Slugger menyerang lawan (baik menyerang monster maupun direct attack), "your opponent cannot activate cards or effects until the end of the Damage Step.". Hal ini membuat lawan tidak bisa mengaktifkan efek kartu yang biasaya aktif di Battle Phase, seperti: Forbidden Lance, Forbidden Dress, Dimensional Prison, Mirror Force, Honest, Battle Fader, Bujingi Crane, Ghostrick Jackfrost, Rainbow Kuriboh, Tragoedia, dll. Tidak hanya monster yang memiliki text “when this card is destroyed” (Fire Hand dan Ice Hand anyone?), monster-monster yang termasuk FLIP effect (lol hampir semua monster-monster Shaddoll punya FLIP efek) juga tidak bisa mengaktifkan efeknya jika U.A. Mighty Slugger menyerang lawan..

Anyway, U.A. Mighty Slugger enggak bisa ngenegate Continuous Effect karena monster-monster yang memiliki Continuous Effect secara teknis tidak mengaktifkan, "activate", efeknya. Hal ini dikarenakan tidak ada colon di text mereka, seperti “When this card is ... : ... .”. Jaman sekarang juga ramai monster Xyz dengan efek “If this face-up card would be destroyed, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card instead.”. Efek seperti itu masuk ke Continuous Effect dan Xyz monster yang memiliki efek tersebut (misalnya: Number 101: Silent Hoor ARK, Maestroke the Symphony Djinn, Number 12: Crimson Shadow Armor Ninja, dll) masih bisa bertahan dari serangan U.A. Mighty Slaugger..  Ditambah lagi U.A. Mighty Slaugger rentan terkena Bottomless Trap Hole, Deep Dark Trap Hole, dan Torretial Tribute..

U.A. Perfect Ace
(DUEA-EN088) Rare
EARTH/Level 5/Warrior/Effect/1500 ATK/2500 DEF
You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by returning 1 "U.A." monster you control to the hand, except "U.A. Perfect Ace". You can only Special Summon "U.A. Perfect Ace" once per turn this way. Once per turn, during your opponent's turn, when a card or effect is activated: You can discard 1 card; Negate that activation, and if you do, destroy it (this is a Quick Effect).

Berbeda dengan U.A. Mighty Slugger, U.A. Perfect Ace justru lebih gampang disummon ke field (selain "returning 1 "U.A." monster you control to the hand, except "U.A. Perfect Ace". You can only Special Summon "U.A. Perfect Ace" once per turn this way."). Kita bisa menggunakan Chaos-End Master, Giant Rat atau Warrior Lady of Wasteland untuk special summon U.A. Perfect Ace dari Deck.. Valkyrian Knight juga bisa special summon U.A. monster yang ada di Graveyard.. Tapi ane lebih prefer ke Warrior Lady of Wasteland sih.. Soalnya itu monster bisa disend Transmodify lalu special summon U.A. Mighty Slugger/U.A. Perfect Ace dari Deck.. :3

Jadi U.A. Perfect Ace itu kartu jelek? Eggak juga sih. Dengan ATK power yang rentan terkena Bottomless Trap Hole, 2500 DEF yang dimilikinya mampu menahan serangan monster lawan yang rata-rata ngemain deck Number 101: Silent Honor ARK.. Stardust Dragon dan Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon juga tidak menghancurkan monster ini by battle.. :)

Kartu ini juga dilengkapi efek yang sangat membantu di meta setelah DUEA direlease. U.A. Perfect Ace sangat perfect untuk menegate "activation" ketika lawan mengaktifkan kartu.. Tentu saja kartu yang bagus untuk dinegate ya Shaddoll Fusion.. :) Hanya saja kita bisa mengaktifkan efek U.A. Perfect Ace tersebut "Once per turn, during your opponent's turn, " dan dengan cost "discard 1 card" dari tangan.. Lebih jelek daripada Light and Darkness Dragon 'kan? Siapa bilang :p Lha wong sama-sama engga bisa negate Super Polymerization. Di textnya U.A. Perfect Ace juga pakai "You can", sedangkan Light and Darkness Dragon enggak. "You can" di sana menandakan bahwa efek U.A. Perfect Ace tidaklah mandatory, melainkan optional..

Selain mendapatkan monster, U.A. juga mendapatkan support dalam bentuk Field Spell Card, U.A. Stadium namanya.

Dilihat dari efeknya, U.A. Stadium benar-benar kartu yang balance dari segi apapun. Enggak terlalu broken dan enggak terlalu sampah.. :) Bisa dibilang U.A. Stadium ialah Black Whirlwind dalam bentuk Field Spell.. Karena efeknya sama seperti Black Whirlwind, "If a "U.A." monster is Normal Summoned to your side of the field: You can add 1 "U.A." monster from your Deck to your hand.". See? Sama kan efeknya? Nope! :p Di textnya U.A. Stadium tidak ada restriksi ATK power monster yang bisa diadd, sedangkan di textnya Black Whirlwind ada tambahan "that has less ATK than that monster"..

Dari type Spell Card juga beda.. U.A. Stadium itu Field Spell Card, bukan Continuous Spell Card seperti Black Whirlwind.. Jadi kartu ini bisa diadd Terraforming dari Deck, sedangkan deck Blackwing perlu ngedraw Black Whirlwind ke tangan.. Walaupun demikian, KONAMI membuat U.A. Stadium menjadi balance karens U.A. Stadium itu Field Spell Card. Dengan begitu, tidak perlu pusing lagi jika ada 3 U.A. Stadium di field lawan.. :v

Ada 1 hal penting yang kalian lupakan, U.A. monster yang direlease di booster DUEA ini semuanya Level 5. Di rule book menyatakan, "Untuk normal summon monster Level 5 dan 6 dari tangan, kalian memerlukan 1 tribute". ..

"Tapi kan tidak ada "Once per turn" di efek pertamanya? Efek keduanya, "Once per turn, if a "U.A." monster(s) is Special Summoned to your side of the field: All monsters you currently control gain 500 ATK.", juga bagian mana yang balance gan?"

Tambahan 500 ATK ke semua monster "you currently control" ketika "a "U.A." monster(s) is Special Summoned to your side of the field:" itu biasa dimiliki Field Spell.. Tapi itu memerlukan kita untuk special summon U.A. monster.. Selain Call of the Hunted, Redox, Dragon Ruler of Boulders, dan Soul Charge, masih sedikit kartu untuk special summon U.A. monster dari Graveyard, Deck, maupun Hand.. Eh, itu "gain 500 ATK" permanen ya? Ane engga liat ada tulisan "untill the End Phase" di sana

OVERALL

Walaupun baru keluar 5 kartu, Burning Abyss sepertinya bisa masuk ke ranah Tier 1 di TCG.. Berbeda dengan saat pertama kali Noble Knight diperkenalkan di PHSW.. Beberapa anggota dari Burning Abyss bisa dimasukkan ke deck yang lagi naik daun di TCG juga, di deck Shaddoll.. Yep, Burning Abyss so far lebih bagus daripada Noble Knight.. Mereka bisa ngedodge Traptrix Trap Hole Nightmare dan Bottomless Trap Hole.. Namun mereka tidak bisa summon Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss jika di arena ada Rivalry of Warlords atau Gozen Match.. Karena attribute yang dimiliki Burning Abyss adalah LIGHT dan DARK, maka mereka bisa membawa Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning dan Dark Armed Dragon.. Di booster berikutnya, The Next Challengers (NECH), Burning Abyss akan mendapatkan Synchro Monster (sudah obvious juga akan mendapatkan Tuner monster. Berhubung monster-monster Burning Abyss memiliki text, "If you control a monster that is not a “Burning Abyss”, destroy this card.".) yang membuat archetype tersebut makin menarik untuk dimainkan.. Apalagi efek tersebut akan ngetrigger Supply Squad.. Burning Abyss jadi makin mengasyikan untuk dimainkan daripada Noble Knight..

Selain Burning Abyss, KONAMI merelease archetype TCG World Premiere juga. Ultra Athlete (U.A.) namanya. Jadi ceritanya ada 2 Archetype TCG World Premiere dalam 1 Booster.. So far, U.A. ialah archetype yang bisa special summon diri mereka dari tangan dengan cara ngebounce monster U.A. yang ada di field. (Jadi ingat sama Genex Ally Birdman yang dilimit KONAMI..). Namun, hanya 2 monster saja belum cukup untuk menjadikannya deck.

IMO U.A. masih termasuk archetype lemah untuk meta sekarang ini. Mereka hanya bisa "add 1 "U.A." monster from your Deck to your hand. " berkat efek U.A. Stadium dan hanya bisa aktif jika ""U.A." monster is Normal Summoned to your side of the field:". Mereka masih kekurangan support untuk memberikan impact ke meta game ke depan.

Di sisi lain, monster-monster U.A. memiliki efek yang bagus. "Once per turn, during your opponent's turn, when a card or effect is activated:" kita bisa "discard 1 card; Negate that activation, and if you do, destroy " berkat efek yang dimiliki U.A. Perfect Ace. Efek tersebut sangat berguna di meta ke depa berhubung Shaddoll Fusion sangat berbahaya.. :v . Dan monster U.A. yang satu lagi, U.A. Mighty Slugger adalah Level 5/Warrior yang memiliki efek sama seperti Gem-Knight Citrine. Namun ia bisa menjadi 2800 ATK monster apabila U.A. Stadium ada di arena..

Anyway, ada banyak support untuk U.A dari booster DUEA dan booster-booster sebelumnya.. Karena merekaa berdua Level 5/Warrior monster, mereka mendapat support dari DUEA karena ada The Monarchs Stormforth, Battleguard Rage, Battleguard Howling, dan Feast of the Wild - LV5.. Tentu saja kita bisa ngemix mereka dengan monster-monster Ghostrick sebagai bahan untuk tribute, Artifact Sanctum, Artifact Moralltach, Instant Fusion dan Giltia D. Knight untuk abuse Feast of the Wild - LV5..

Protips: bacalah text kartu sebelum kena hype.. :) Membaca text kartu itu sangat membantu ente-ente semua baik ketika berduel, membuat deck, masalah ruling, dan yang paling penting ketika ada spoiler kartu baru seperti saat ini.. ;)
